SERENA DE MARIA 

Serena was born in Naples in 1976, and has been a gold engraver since 1998.

After finishing her classic-school exams, she chose to indulge in her interest for the arts by attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, where she attained her engraving technique.

She graduated with an A/A grade in July 2000. She applies herself to gold engraving, attending the training course for gold jewellery at the goldsmith school “il Tarì” of the Consorzio Polifunzionale in Marcianise.

She has attended specialised courses in chalcography techniques continuing to deepen the goldsmith and engraving art.

She has also taken part in various painting, graphic and jewellery exhibitions and was chosen to contend in numerous engraving contests (Naples, Genoa, Fermignano, Monsummano Terme), obtaining worthy indications (Gorlago 1999 e 2001; Alijo, Portugal 2001).

Her works can be found in private and public collections.

Serena lives and works in Naples, and also dedicates herself to teaching.
