MASSIMO
GABANETTI
Massimo was born in Brescia
in 1972.
He obtained his
scientific-schooling exam, attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera, Milan,
in 1995.
He began his artistic career
whilst developing a specific interest for chalcography engraving over the years.
In this sector he has participated in various displays and contests, as well as
educational and popular exhibitions:
1995: collective exhibition
“Progettare l’Ignoto”; 5th Engraving Contest “Ugonia-Morselli” (first
place);
2001: First National Biennial
Engraving “Giuseppe Polanschi”, at “Corte Torcolo”, Multipurpose Centre
of Art and Culture, Cavaion Veronese (Verona);
Second Graphics Triennial
“Città di Brescia”;
2002: “Italo Grandi”
Engraving Competition. He also has his works on display at the “Centro
dell’incisione” in Milan and at the “Il Quadrato” Gallery in Chieri.
He works from his own studio
in Borgo San Giacomo (BS).
