LEONARDO BOLLINI

 

Leonardo was born in San Marino in 1982. 

He was awarded his diploma in Engraving and Book illustration Techniques at the State Institute of Art in Urbino.

 In 2002 he won a young engravers contest organised by the Lyons Club in Urbino. In 2002 he participated in the collective exhibition of the students’ elaborations at the State Institute of Art in Urbino prepared in the halls of Castellare di Palazzo, entitled “La scuola del Libro fra tradizione e rinnovamento”. 

In 2003 he took part in the “Da Urbino a Lodi: percorsi dell’incisione contemporanea” exhibition, organised by the Municipality and Province of Lodi, in the field of “Natura arte 2003”. He performed an engraving for the “Associazione Monsignor Luciano Quartieri”, Municipality of Lodi. 

In 2003 he was also among those selected at the “Seconda Biennale di Incisione Giuseppe Polanschi”, organised by the Municipality of Cavaion Veronese (VR).

He is currently attending the Painting Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. 

Since 2002 he has been an assistant to the international artistic engraving courses in Urbino. 

He lives between Urbino and Borgo Maggiore in San Marino, also developing an interest for music and nature.
